Apple Expected to Release iOS 8.2 in March

iOS 8.2

Apple has already seeded a few betas of iOS 8.2, but as far as the general availability is concerned, a new report hints at its release some time in March.

The new update is expected to come with a number of improvements and bug fixes, but the most notable feature among the lot is the support for Apple Watch.

The report doesn’t reveal the exact availability date so there’s a possibility that it may come out a week or so before the Apple Watch launch, or may be a month. Tim Cook already confirmed the Apple Watch will start shipping by April, but didn’t give out an exact availability date.

Apple has already asked high-profile developers to submit their apps for the Apple Watch for testing, and get them ready by mid-February. So, there’s a possibility that it may get a launch event in March followed by its availability in April.

There will be different versions of the Apple Watch starting at $399 for the simple one, and is expected to go as high as $5,000 for the gold Watch edition.

We’ll update you as soon as we hear anything more about the availability of the Apple Watch, as well as the upcoming iOS 8.2 software update.
