Apple has released its latest iOS 8 adoption figures, and for the first time, distribution of Apple’s latest version of iOS has risen over 70 percent.
A couple of weeks ago Apple iOS 8 adoption had reached 68 percent, so Apple has seen a 4 percent increase in the last few weeks.
Uptake of Apple’s iOS 8 is still slower than that of the previous version iOS 7, which was sitting at around 80 percent this time last year.
In the current figures that have been released iOS 7 is still in 25 percent of Apple’s iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch devices, and older versions of their mobile OS are on just 3 percent of devices.
It will be interesting to see how long it take Apple to get their iOS 8 on over 80 percent of device, as it appears that adoption has increased slightly since the last figures were released.
